Alpha-fetoprotein test
This AFP test (alpha-fetoprotein test) is a visual immunoassay for the qualitative detection of AFP in a fingertip blood sample. The AFP test is intended to be used as an aid in the detection of various cancers.
An elevated AFP value is an indication of possible cancer. An abnormal AFP value can be screened with this test.
