CELIAC TEST
Celiac disease is a long-term autoimmune disease that affects the small intestine and can occur in people genetically predisposed to celiac disease.
Celiac disease is caused by intolerance to gluten in wheat, barley and rye and is estimated to affect 1% of people worldwide.
Typical symptoms are chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence and weight loss. Symptoms also include anemia, osteoporosis, extreme fatigue, and children with celiac disease may also have delayed growth.
